In celebration of Charmaine and Sath’s one year anniversary, here’s a post dedicated to them!

During bridal trials, I try to get to know each and every single one of my brides. But Charmaine…she actually has a very special place in my heart.  From talking to her, she’s such a warm and kind hearted person and it’s hard to not fall in love with her personality.  She was actually the first bride to ever e-mail me her engagement photos after our  trial, which you can view here!  Not many brides will go out of their way to do this since they are busy planning their wedding, so I deeply appreciated this gesture from her.

To top it off, I was in LOVE with her engagement photos…it’s the style that I adore.  Nate from Nate Dionisio Photography is a master when it comes to utilizing natural light and really capturing the love and affection a couple has for one another.

So on the day of the wedding, I was super excited not only to do Charmaine’s makeup, but to meet the mastermind behind the lens!

Now let’s talk about makeup…during Charmaine’s trial, we opted for a natural smokey eye with individual false lashes.  Charmaine wanted that fully lash effect while looking natural.  On the day of the wedding, she wanted to spice things up by creating a smokey eye with purples and pinks.  I love brides that aren’t afraid of colour.

When Nate walked through the door, I have to admit, I freaked out a bit.  I might have acted like a fan girl by praising him on the engagement photos.  Needless to say, he’s on my list of friendors (friends + vendors).  Nate surpassed my expectations again, because he worked his magic and came up with these spectacular photos for Charmaine and Sath’s big day!

Congratulations again Charmaine and Sath on your one year anniversary!  I wish you many more years of love, good health, and happiness together!
