Majority of my brides love playing up their eyes and while I do love a good smokey eye, I also love a good bold lip!  Enter Cara.

Cara was actually a referral from the super duper spunky photographer, Mike from Bongopix.  You might remember the name as I go to work with Mike before on a wedding, trash the dress shoot, and do a podcast interview.

Like always, Mike delivers.

Sometimes a makeup artist will clash with a photographer. In those instances, it usually results in a DEATH STARE SHOWDOWN! Disclaimer: no brides were harmed in the process.

Thank you Cara for being such a good sport and Malcolm for taking this photo 🙂  Needless to say, this is why I love working with Mike.  I’m always guaranteed that our interactions will be memorable and wacky!

Even though I’m hired to do makeup, I do try my best to help the bride (and groom) out on their big day.  I noticed that Malcolm was having a bit of trouble putting on his boutonniere…so I decided to step in and help…’twas a success!  I should add this on as my list of services: boutonniere pinner.
