Fiona always had a love and interest for makeup artistry.  After completing her BSc in Life Sciences and BA in Economics from McMaster University and Project Management Certification from Ryerson University, she entered into the world of social media.  She created a popular segment called “Product Wars” on YouTube.  The concept was putting beauty products that made similar claims against one another through a series of tests in order to determine a clear winner.  Little did Fiona know, that this outlet would increase her fascination with makeup by exposing her to new brands, products, looks, techniques, and networks.

To build on her makeup techniques, Fiona was fortunate enough to be trained by one of the top makeup artists in Toronto, Rhia Amio (www.artistrhi.com).  She was able to work alongside Rhia during wedding season in 2011.  Fiona has attained a professional certification in Bridal Makeup from Out of the Beauty Box.  More recently, Fiona signed on as a makeup artist for Blush Pretty (www.blushpretty.com) and got an opportunity to do makeup on Juno nominated singer, Basia Bulat.  Starting out as a makeup artist, Basia gave Fiona the biggest accolade.  Having worked on shoots with Flare and Elle Canada, Basia said that Fiona and Stephanie from Blush Pretty were the most gracious and accommodating team she had ever worked with.

When Fiona is not glamming up her clients for their big day, she is tackling multiple problems at a time as a Project Manager, making large orders of macarons for special events, and trying very hard not to get injured during games and tournaments for a Toronto Field Hockey club.
