As the snow is falling, I can’t help by reminisce of the summer and all the amazing brides I got to work with, especially at Karen + Gary’s Wedding.

Karen has such an effervescent and quirky personality that I absolutely adore and finds a way to make me laugh with her interesting analogies.  Needless to say, there was never a dull moment on the morning of her wedding.

During the trial, we opted for a taupe smokey eye with some false lashes.

Karen’s main concern was the foundation.  She indicated to me that she had oily skin and makeup tends to slide off or cake up.  So on the day of her wedding, we airbrushed her skin with a formulation that was smudgeproof and waterproof.  After her wedding, Karen told me that her makeup stayed in tack the entire night and that’s when I did my happy dance 😉

I always love seeing inspirational images from clients.  Karen’s sister, Karmen, was inspired by makeup from a Korean popstar.   She loved how the winged liner was extended and soft and the lips were a bit lived in.  When I did the final reveal, she said I nailed it spot on.  Booyeah!
