One of my favourite things about engagement shoots is discovering new and beautiful places within the city. There are so many hidden gems nearby and thanks to seeing photos from Vanessa + Jon’s engagement shoot, I’m adding the Burlington Waterfront to my list of places to go.
Vanessa is a very smart bride-to-be and scheduled her trial on the same day as her engagement shoot. In terms of her makeup, she wanted to look like herself but a more enhanced version. So we opted for a very natural and light smokey eye with emphasis on the winged liner and false lashes. Can I just take a moment to gush over her skin? It was smooth like butter and flawless, which made my job even easier when airbrushing.
On top of Vanessa’s flawless skin, I’m also in love with her ombré. This definitely inspired me to get my hair professionally ombréd and I already booked my appointment for November!!
