It’s always great to catch up with previous clients and working with friendors!

You might remember Bick from her wedding here.  When I got an e-mail from her back in June to do her makeup for the “Trash The Dress” shoot, I was thrilled.  It not only meant I got to see her again, it also meant I would get to work with the Mike, the fun-loving, crazy, and creative genius from Bongopix again!

Bick was contemplating between a brown smokey eye and a pin-up vintage look.  My response to her images was, “why don’t we do both?”  She had so much trust in me that she let me do whatever I felt was best.  So we did a matte neutral/brown smokey eye with a winged liner and voluminous false lashes.  I was elated when she said she was in love with the look and told me afterwards how it lasted throughout the rain and the entire shoot.

Bick is honestly so awesome, kind hearted, and always thinks of others.  She organized and coordinated the entire shoot for a few of her best girlfriends and her Mom. Talk about a great way to spend a gorgeous weekend!

Here are a few amazing shots of Bick by the talented Bongopix.  What I love most about Mike‘s work is his ability to let his subject’s personality shine through.  The smile you see on Bick’s face is totally genuine and when you see it in person, it’s infectious.

What kind of shoot would it be without the signature “BONGOPIX” signage?
