Back in December, I had a chance to attend a holiday party hosted by L’Oreal to preview their new Spring 2014 Collection while connecting with some amazing Toronto Beauty Bloggers!

When L’Oreal hosts a party, they like to spoil all of their guests with a hot chocolate station and treats galore!

Here are some of my favourite products from the new collection that I’ve been reaching for in my makeup arsenal.

Voluminous Butterfly Waterproof Mascara – $11.99CAD

I am a true lover of every waterproof mascara that has come out of the Voluminous line. They not only lengthen my lashes, they also volumize it while holding the curl on my stick straight Asian lashes. A more detailed review to come, but take a look at the pic I posted on Instagram after using this mascara.  Isn’t it crazy how long my lashes are?!

Superliner Brow Artist – $11.99CAD
This brow pencil is super pigmented and applies with ease. The best part is that on the other end of the brush is a spoolie to ensure that you brow product blends well with your brow hairs!

Infallible Silkissime Eyeliner – $11.99CAD
Not only is this eyeliner black and applies like a gel formula, it also stays on my waterline!

Colour Riche Le Kajal – $10.99CAD
L’Oreal has up their pigment game because this eyeliner is one of the richest black eyeliners I’ve seen. Swipe the product a few times on your upper and lower lashes then blend with your fingers and left you’re left with an instant smokey eye!

Extraordinaire by Colour Riche – $12.99CAD
These by far have to be my favourite glosses! If you’re looking for a dupe for YSL Rouge pur Couture lipglosses, here they are! These lipglosses feel weightless on your lips, aren’t sticky, and they are pigmented. My favourite is Nude Ballet which is the perfect nude as it doesn’t wash you out.

Colour Riche Gold Dust – $6.99CAD
When it’s the holiday season, I can’t help but to put on sparkly nail polish. I really suck at putting on nail polish and often times I find a way to screw it up by knicking my nails while it’s drying. For those nail polish challenged like myself, L’Oreal has a solution for you!  These nail polishes dry in the matter of minutes and are super long lasting!  Best part is that you don’t need to use acetone remover when taking off this polish as it comes off with ease.  If you don’t like the grainy texture of these nail polishes after they dry, fear not…simply put a glossy top coat!

Revitalift Triple Power LZR Intensive Overnight Mask – $35.99CAD
My readers will be aware that my skin tends to be a bit dry during the winter and also because of my acne fighting products. So to ensure that my skin is well hydrated, I use this product on my face and neck at night. Remember the neck…it’s one of the first places that shows signs of aging!

Sensational Cleansing Oil – $11.99CAD
Everyday I wear makeup to work. To ensure that my face is ridden from all makeup, dirt, and sweat accumulated throughout the day, I use this baby to get rid of it, including waterproof mascara. Simply just rub the product with dry hands onto your face and it will emulsify into liquid with water.

Gentle Micellar Solution – $11.99CAD
When doing makeup on myself and my clients, I tend to start with the eyes. Often times there will be fall out from the shadows. So I love using micellar solution to help clean up the fall out. I even use it along with a Q-Tip to sharpen the flick of my winged liner.

I rarely do outfit posts because…there are much more fashionable people out there in the world.  My sister being one of them.  But I just had to take it for LisaMarie.  Why? Because she handmade this fabulous milk carton purse for me!

And if you’re wondering what makeup I did for the event, I did a brown smokey eye with glitter in the inner tearducts using Annabelle Glitterama Liquid Eyeliner.
