Exactly 3 years ago, I did a Product Wars episode on MAC Pearlglide Intense Liner vs. URBAN DECAY 24/7 Eye Pencil, where MAC won.  Now there’s a new eyeliner in town…

REVIEW:
Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen in Copper Glow is described as deep copper with gold glimmer.  Even though there are flecks of gold sparkles in the eyeliner, it is very subtle, so you don’t need to worry about looking like a glitter bomb.  Because of the flecks of sparkles, I would steer clear of applying this product on your waterline for safety reasons.

Pixi Eye Pen Swatch

Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen in Copper Glow

Does this product glide on easily?
Yes!  The product is really smooth and glides on effortlessly.  Think Urban Decay 24/7 Eye Pencil but even creamier.  You don’t have to put any pressure on this eyeliner to get intense pigmentation.  The downside of this is that the pencil does wear out quickly causing frequent visits with the sharpener.  After using this eyeliner consecutively for 3 weeks, I have used 1/4 of the pencil.

At work, I like to keep my eye look easy and simple.  So I usually line my eyes with the liner then take a smudger brush to drag the product outwards and create a soft cat eye.

Is this product smudge-free & super long-wear?
Somewhat.  Because of the creaminess of the product, it does take at least a minute to set.  Once it sets, it doesn’t budge.  I tried rubbing the product and it didn’t move.  On the flip side, once your lids start getting oily, it will break down the product.  My lids are super oily and usually use an eye primer.  I tested this product without using a primer and noticed that it does smudge a tad easier and it did transfer where my eye folds.  So if you have dry to normal eye lids, it will remain smudge free & long wearing.  But if you have oily lids, I would suggest using an eye primer and even setting the liner with an eyeshadow to increase the longevity.

Is this product waterproof?
Yes! I have walked in the rain in this and the liner remained in tack.  I even applied this on my hand and anti-bacterial soap did not fully remove the product.

Would I buy this product again?
YES! Even though I have to apply eye primer and sometimes set it with eyeshadow, it doesn’t matter.  I have to do that regardless since I’m naturally oily.  The colour pay-off is gorgeous and appropriate for work.  Just keep a sharpener close-by.
